Parties that are lawfully married or getting married can agree in advance of a Separation or Divorce how they will deal with their property, support obligations and certain decisions about their children. Marriage Contracts are often referred to as Pre-Nuptial agreements and can be agreed to prior to the marriage or during the marriage. They can be entered into by same sex couples or opposite sex couples.
Cohabitation agreements can be entered into by same sex parties or opposite sex parties who plan on residing together and want to deal with financial and support obligations prior to a separation. These Agreements can be entered into prior to the parties residing together or at any time during the cohabitation but prior to a separation.
Separation Agreements can be entered into by same sex parties, opposite sex parties, married parties, and parties that have cohabited together that have decided to separate. The Agreement can be entered into prior to physical separation. The Agreement can deal with all the financial issues, support, custody, access and other issues.
Domestic Agreements are charged at a flat rate of $ 1,800.00 plus H.S.T., on the premise that there is little negotiation and that the parties have agreed on the basic terms of the agreement.
